Pre-installation: Choose a high gloss tile
Trademark Tiling recommend you choose a high gloss tile. Usually, the more glossy a tile is, the easier it is to keep clean. You should find that a general purpose cleaning solution, such as Miracle Tile & Stone Cleaner will help you keep your splashback tile surface clean. We also suggest the use of natural remedies.

If you’re open to the use of glass splashbacks, you can achieve a high gloss shine with no grout lines.
Post-installation: Maintain your splashback tile grout
As per our “How to choose tiles” blog post, small tiles such as mosaic or subway tiles often provide the option to inject an area with lovely colours and patterns.
Keep in mind that small tiles require more grout, compared to large splashback tiles that use less grout.
Maintaining your splashbacks tile grout can be achieved using a vinegar solution and some gentle scrubbing with a soft toothbrush.
Which chemicals can I use to clean my splashback?
For a thorough clean, we recommend using water and baking soda. You can degrease your tiles by leaving the solution in place for 5 minutes to penetrate stubborn stains.
Trademark Tiling recommend using a spray bottle with 1/4 cup of baking soda to 2 cups of water.
Simply wipe the water and baking soda solution off the splashback tile surface and clean further with the vinegar solution mentioned above.
